Hello! Welcome to Math with Miss Ault.
I am in my tenth year teaching at East Valley MS. I really enjoy teaching math at the middle school level because the students are so interesting (read bizarre) and willing to learn.
Many people feel like they are trapped in an airless bubble when asked to describe and think about their own academic mathematics experiences. However, I truly believe that the highest heights are possible when you work hard in math and that when you attain your goal you will believe your efforts were worthwhile and see the beauty of your hard work.
Please use this page to familiarize yourself with expectations in my classes. I will also post assignments, documents and general information that you will need throughout the year. My hope is that with the help of this tool we (students, teachers, and parents) can do everything we can do be sure we have a fun and productive year in math!
As I find interesting math related websites through the year I will post them so that you can explore them to try to find the fun in math. If you have suggestions for links please feel free to email them to me at [email protected]. Students should regularly check for updates on their class page (Math 7, Algebra One, or Advisory) and the Ault's Randomness page for hidden gems of wisdom.
